“Buzz” Words

The modern world moves fast and has a whole lot of detail to keep track of as it goes, not to mention staying up to date with the latest jargon, acronyms, and buzz words of a given industry. The sustainable agriculture movement and its various communities aren’t immune to this and have adapted several common terms (as well as practices) when addressing their work and their overall goals, along with adding or refining some terms as they gain experience and knowledge from season to season. We figured, since we’re using many of these terms and acronyms as we describe ourselves, our business model, and our network of partners, we should go ahead and make life easier for our visitors by spelling out exactly what each thing means in the broader context. We hope it’s helpful!
